Say hello to team

We specialised in design thinking to solve social problems.

Yuki Teraoka

I am day dreamer Yuki.
I love to imagine and dream fantasy and think how I can bring it down to our reality. Simply because it is fun to imagine the experience and interaction it would create and how it would change anything around us. Now I’m pursuing this in a relation with holistic human well-being in modern societies. Let’s create wicked future!

Yichi Duan

I am spatial Yichi.

I think spatially, building things with scrap and then implant to the bigger image - small designs can make big impact, physically and mentally. I am a sharp listener. I believe design thinking would become a tool for people to build a stronger self in the near future.

Hsiao-Han Liu

I am the jumpy Hsiao.

I'm an adventurous explorer who work across spatial, service design and emotional healing.I like human beings a lot, I like to observe them(stoking, yeah!!!), listen to them, and design for them. I believe that the interdisciplinary can lead design into the true innovation.

“Why do we design as CoAT. ?"

Yuki's answer

CoAT. is looking at the communication between every single elements including us that create our every day life. I myself always wondering how do we communicate our world or what do we communicate resulting the world we see everyday. Can we play around? Can we modify some perhaps ? I hope I can find something to answer some questions with CoAT.

Yichi's answer

Design, always being a team work. I enjoy we share ideas and inspire each other, which creates 1+1>2 value. We are from different backgrounds and having different and similar experiences in the same or different locations. However, we gather together to complete one mission: to create a diverse world together WITH YOU.

“What do you want to design?"

Yuki's answer

I love design, because it makes people happy, exiting, moved, encouraged and even more. It is like a magic but there is no special tricks. In fact you need eyes and ears to feel the world, brain to think deep and body to create!

Yichi's answer

Design is no longer providing only a single solution, but more about opening a topic for further exploration and discussion. Design is to be inspiring. This is what I love about design. I'd love to see people inspiring each other and seeing alternatives in their life.

“How do you want the design to be in the future?"

Yuki's answer

I want all "design" to be a mentor in the future. I believe, well and deeply considered concept (almost philosophy) has a power to directly send its core idea to and hugely impact on those interact with. Also it would exist over generations.

Yichi's answer

Design is going to be everywhere and be with everyone in the future. Or, shall say 'design thinking'. Design thinking connects environment and people, breaking the intrinsic boundries.
